Why 57 out of 100 Representative Worldwide consumers don’t speak English as a First Language

Let’s face it. The world is flattening and Asian language speaking cultures are driving the slow-moving steamroller. Other cultures are not far behind. Nimble companies who use G3 ’s language and culture expertise are preparing to capitalize on these new highways of impending revenue while their language-indifferent competitors are in danger of becoming part of the pavement.

It Takes a Village

Did you know? If we were to concentrate the Earth’s estimated population of 6.5 billion people down into a village of 100 representative ethnicities, the majority of those people will be Asian—57, in fact. 15 people will be of African origin; 12 people will be European; around 9 will be of Latin American/Caribbean origin; 3 will be from the Middle East. The rest of the village will be individuals representing various other cultures.

So how many of the 100 villagers will be from The United States and Canada with English as their native language?

FIVE (5). And while these 5 people will control over 90 percent of the village’s wealth, the fact is today’s rapid push for internationalization is starting to redistribute the global channels of wealth...and if your business isn’t prepared to speak to the village majority in the way they are most comfortable, your business will be left behind.

Let G3's internationalization team assist you in preparing your product for foreign markets. Taking this first step will ensure your global message can easily be localized.
